Prayer

Faced with something beyond the reach of human strength alone, he had no choice but to devote all that remained of his strength solely to prayer. He was a fragile yet brilliantly radiant being, willingly sacrificing his own body as he prayed with profound devotion. A prayer with no end in sight slowly broke him apart, exposing his bones and organs, while the fallen fragments of his flesh scattered on the ground alongside fragments of his prayer, glimmering with fragile beauty.

기도하는 이

사람의 힘으로 해결할 수 없었던 일 앞에서, 남은 힘을 오직 기도에만 쏟아부을 수밖에 없었던 이가 있었다. 그는 유약하지만 찬란하게 빛나던 자신의 몸을 기꺼이 희생하며 진정을 다해 기도하였다. 기약 없는 기도는 그를 천천히 부서뜨려 뼈와 내장을 드러내게 만들었고, 떨어진 살점들은 기도의 파편과 함께 바닥에 흩어져 아름답게 반짝인다.
